Budd presents to APIPP
Tammara Van Ryn, Executive Director of the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program, presented the Adirondack Garden Club with a certificate of appreciation for work accomplished through the Garden Club of America’s P4P grant project at the Essex Quarry.
On April 25, Nancy Budd, Conservation Committee Chair and lead architect of the P4P project accepted the award after presenting an update during APIPP’s annual meeting. As Tammara Van Ryn noted, many people say the problem of invasive species is too big and just give up. Still, the Adirondack Garden Club and a small group of volunteers have demonstrated it is never too late to battle invasive species.
